MacBook Air abrupt shut down

If my MacBook Air goes to sleep mode, it abruply shuts down the moment i try to awaken it. How can i fix that?

You may try troubleshooting first, by use of Safe mode on startup, by following instructions here:


• Use 'safe mode' to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262


Be sure the mac starts in 'safe' mode; you may have to login twice. ~ To exit, restart normally.
