Using Family Sharing, Apple Music on MacBook

I just bought a MacBook, I'm on my husbands Apple Music family sharing plan. Wondering if I can sign in on my laptop with that and if so, how?

Yes. Just log in to your Apple ID in iTunes on the MacBook, and any Family sharing features available to your Apple Id will be available on the MacBook.

My husband sent an invitation to my new Apple ID via Message. All good.

Technically you should have used the Apple ID you were using before you bought the MacBook if you had one.

If you created a brand new one, know that any purchases you made with the old one, if you had one, remain tied to it, and will not be available to the MacBook.
