Hand it over to the police, you and your grandson will never be able to use it.

Can you not read? ckuan's reply was accurate and to the point.
Apple will not, for any reason, give you someone else's private information. Turning the iPhone into the police is all you can do. They will take care of returning it to the owner, if possible.
