what to do with lost and found apple devices ??
Lost and found apple Ipads were raffled off at the airport after 2-3 years of no claims . My friends asked me if we can do anything we them . I called apple and they said they can’t do anything . I told them to give my info to the owners if it comes to that. Nada .. they need to do something about these bricked pieces of high quality hardware. At least for the sake of thinking green.

Sorry, but unless whoever previously owned the devices removes activation lock from any of the iPads, they are utterly, totally useless devices. Apple as you already found out won't help with them, nor can we.
They should be recycled at any place which recycles used electronics.

There is nothing you can do as most likely this device was locked with Activation Lock. Your best bet would be to recycle it.
