track pad has mind of it own
My track pad is not working. The curser is moving on it s own randomly around the screen. When I attach an external mouse, I can control the curser normally. thanks for any help.

A swollen battery can adversely effect the trackpad mouse.

My MacBook Pro is from 2012 so was not included in this recall.
