Broken Charger -- Lightning USB Tip

My lightning USB charger tip broke at the base of the metal part, and it seems like a fracture at one of the metal prongs. Is this repairable? And if so, would it be wiser to repair it or buy a new charger?

Furthermore, if I do buy a new charger, would it be best to buy one from Apple, or could one compatible / MFI certified be trusted--with the understanding that qualities may vary? If it is best to buy one from Apple, would Amazon / Best Buy be good places to look?

Hello,

It is probably best to just buy a new cable. It should be either genuine Apple or MFi certified:

Identify counterfeit or uncertified Lightning connector accessories

Good luck.
