I have my AirPods charging too 100% but the case that is charging the AirPods stay at 0%

I have my AirPods charging too 100% but the case that is charging the AirPods stay at 0% I’ve tried cleaning the lightning cable and the charging port. I also charged different AirPods with the same charger and charged them to 100% no problem.
