I bought an apple ipod and ipad from the goodwill in Santa Ana, Ca and I can't do anything with them because I don't know the previous owners. Would apple be able to find them thru icloud so they can ask them if they could deactivate the device?
Good Will should know better then to sell device that are Activation Locked.
Take it back. If they don't seem to want to refund your money start using the word fraud and suggesting you will call the cops in on them to check for other stolen merchandise.
Take it back to Goodwill and ask for your money back. It is useless without help from the original owner. Apple will not help.
