Watch Series 4

If I buy an Apple Watch series 4 (gps + cellular), can I use my watch without connecting to a cellular network? I would like to buy this watch with the cellular option but not sure if I will really need the cellular but would like to have it if I realize I need cellular.

Absolutely. You can always activate the Cellular function with your carrier at a later date.
