Can't find pictures folder
Where do I locate the pictures folder on my Mac? It is not listed under favourites in Finder.

The things in the SideBar are merely aliases (shortcuts) that point to the real things.
You can customize the SideBar, so not everything on your Mac will be shown in the SideBar unless you actually put it there.
Finder Preferences, SideBar, or drag the items into or out of the SideBar.
Things like you Pictures, Music, or Documents folders are in your Home folder. Now, if you enable Desktop & Documents in iCloud Drive, then the Documents folder will be found in iCloud Drive.
