Apple Watch water lock feature

My Apple Watch will not turn off the water lock feature because my Digital Crown has not been working properly. I have tried to rinse it for 10-15 seconds, hard resetting it, and letting the watch die. Do I have any other options? I can’t use my watch with the water lock feature on...
