Updating credit card payment

iTunes won't let me remove an old and canceled credit card from our payments page until it is verified, which I am unable to do since it has been canceled. Nor will it let me add a new card because the old card needs to be verified. Seems like a complete Catch 22!

What is the solution?

Payment Update Problem I had to cancel a credit card I lost (the only payment method I have on file with iTunes). I have my new card but I can't delete the old one (says there's active subscriptions where I looked and all of mine are expired). It wants it verified which I can't since I have lost the card. When I try to just add a new payment method, a message box pops up stating "One or more of your payment methods require verification" and doesn't give me the option to add the new card anyway. Which circles back to problem number one and me unable to get a payment method on file to update any apps on my phone or make purchases...…………….

adding new payments with a credit card that has been stopped and cant be deleted i want to delete an old credit card that has been stopped, but apple asks me to verify the old one before i can add a new one. the old one is no longer able to be verified and now apple wont let me add a new card. What can i do?
