so I am using iPhone 8 and the rear camera or the flash won’t work at all I was trying to get repaired then I realized I have apple care till May 2020. Can I repair my iPhone for free since I have apple care even though it was an accidental damage by the consumer?

If you payed for a protection plan extension, then you should have subscribed to AppleCare+
AppleCare (not plus) is intended as the normal warranty period (not covering accidental events).
You should be able to check your status here:--> Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

So it should be AppleCare+ (extented two years).

Is there difference in apple care and apple care +? I think i have apple care but I’m not sure ab it. Or are those two things the same thing
