To join a Family Sharing group, ask the family group organizer to invite you. When they add your Apple ID to the group list, then you will get a message. To accept an invitation, follow the onscreen instructions. You can only join one family at a time, and you can only switch to a different family group once per year.
To share an Apple Music subscription with a Family Sharing group, the organizer should get the Apple Music Family subscription.
That is it. Each member will have access to the service, by being part of the group.
