screen time

i forgot my screen time password and now i can’t set new limits what should i do?

You will need to erase the iPad using your computer and iTunes to remove the screen time passcode. Do NOT restore the device from backup as that will put you right back where you are.


This link says for the passcode you use to open your iPad, but it is the same exact method to restore the device for a forgotten screen time passcode.


Write the code down for easy recall, when you set up a new one so you never have to go through this again.
