Suddenly no sound on my iMac

After checking the System Preferences for Sound, making certain that both the internal speakers and the headphones are NOT in mute and the slider is all the way to the right, what do I do now to get my sound back? Thanks

iMac 2017 No sound On iMac 2017 after installing monterey I dont have any sound in the system (Music, safari etc). Sometimes rebooting helps, sometimes i must turn off computer and turn it on again and sound comes back. It is very irritating. Ive tried reinstalling macOS and it didnt help. Propably its some kind of bug in the system. Apple please fix it it

no output sound devices found on my iMac. Whats going on? My volumn is no longer working. I can't hear anything on any pages. went into system preferences then sound and there is no output preference to select. Any advice would be great
