Microsoft applications cannot see installed fonts

Hi,


I am using a Macbook Air OSX el capitan ver 10.11 and fonts that are downloaded are available in all applications except Microsoft apps. I see the font in the user folder, however when I open PowerPoint of Word no font.


Help!
