I've imported a spreadsheet onto my mac, however the order runs from newest down the sheet to oldest, how can i flip this information so that it runs with the oldest entry at the top dow to the newest (bot to include the corresponding data cells that run along the row. I have tried to do this and only succeeded in reversing the date order of the first column

Since I want to sort by column "A" (Day), hover the cursor over the column header (the "A") then click the down-pointing triangle, and select "Sort Descending"

Hi Elini,
Numbers mimics a database, whereby (within each table) each column is a "field" and each row is a "record". All cells in a row sort together and the data remain intact.
Are your data in separate tables? A screen shot will help us to see what you see.
