Loosing my playlists on Apple Music

Hi all! I’ve recently moved to Switzerland and can’t download some essential app’s on the App Store because my region is still set to South Africa. I’ve heard that if I change regions I’ll lose all my Apple Music playlists. Is there anyway around this? I don’t want to lose my music I’ve been building up playlists for over three years now.
