my mom swaped from a Iphone to a android why are her messages still showing as imessages. She hasn’t received any of my messages because of it. How can I fix this

iMessages and Android phones I have an iPhone 7 and, until recently, my sister had an iPhone SE. She has now changed to an Android phone however, since that change, when I send a message to her, it still sends as an iMessage which means that she doesn’t receive it on the new phone. Messages to other Android phones work fine but those contacts have always had Android phones. Is there a way of sending messages to her as SMS’s without turning off iMessages completely?

My step mom can’t get my text messages so I turned off my iMessages and she still did not get them she has an iPhone also My step mom isn’t getting my messages. I tried turning off iMessages and it didn’t help. By the way her phone is an iPhone like mine not an android.

used imessage on macbook now imessage on iphone wont work I have an Iphone 8 and a new macbook. I messaged my moms iphone xr from my macbook. Now I can't receive any of her messages on my iphone. They all go to to my Macbook. Even if she types in my number it still goes to my macbook.
