MacBook: how to record line-in via audioport

I remember having recorded my piano by feeding the line out into my MacBook (2017) "headphone" jack, the only one available. However, when I attempt now, I don't find a way. If I view "Input" in "Sound" in "System Preferences" I only have one device, "Internal Microphone".

According to this (old) video:

there should be an option for "Use audioport for:" but to my best ability I don't have that option.

How do I record line-in via the audio port? What has changed in Mac OS on this front? (considering I a year ago succeeded at recording with this machine.)

MacBook, macOS 10.14

Older Macs had an audio in jack. The headphone jack is audio out only.
