Moving songs from VLC folder to iPhone 7 Plus Music library

I am a newbie to the iPhone. I use the VLC app to transfer songs from my computer to my iPhone 7 Plus using WiFi. How do I get those songs to show up in my Music library so I can play them using the Apple Music app? Right now they only show up in the VLC app folder. Is there a way to transfer songs directly to the Music library on my iPhone from my computer?

iTunes or the iCloud Music Library are the only ways to place music on an iOS device that will be accessible to the music app.
