iphone x battery health at 97 percent after 2 months
I got my iPhone X about two months ago and my battery health is already at 97%... is there a reason why it could be decreasing so quickly?

There's nothing to be concerned with until the battery health is at 80% and/or you're having battery issues.
The number is merely an estimate. The fact that it's gone down 3% in 2 months does not mean it will continue to do so.
