“node” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

This message repeatedly appears and does not shut off once I click 'ok'. I can't find a file titled node and nothing seems to work under security and privacy 'open anyway'. Any ideas?

One way to determine the information you seek to use (Apple menu) > About This Mac > System Report... > Software > Applications.

A sortable list of all the applications installed on that Mac will appear. One of the columns is labeled Obtained from. Click that heading to sort that column. You will probably find many apps whose source is "Unknown". If you find that one, selecting it will reveal its fully qualified pathname in the section beneath it.

If you can't find it under Applications, look under Legacy Software.
