My passcode isn’t working but my Face ID is so I don’t know what the problem is and it won’t let me change my password either.

If your passcode isn't working then obviously you'll not be able to reset it and will not be able to if not accepting your passcode at settings>face id and passcode. Resolution, erase device from icloud.com/find or restore using iTunes on PC or mac. Back up your data first.
