i seem to have downloaded advanced Mac Cleaner on to my New Mac book air computer

I read that is a virus . Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it ?

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac will detect Advanced MacKeeper as PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) and will remove the app and all of its components.
