Siri and messages
When I try to send a message using Siri she reports she is having trouble with the app

here are the steps to try from least work to most work 1. force reboot the device (press the side button and the home button down together until you see the Apple logo). 2. Go to settings>general>reset>and reset network settings. 3. Go to settings>general>reset>and reset all settings. 4. restore the device to factory and set up as new. there is also this link that says you should check your internet connection (this is why you are resetting the network settings)
