I am a US citizen who Bought an Apple Watch 4 at home in USA and took it with me to Australia. Can’t set up the ecg function here - even though it’s a US watch. Not coming back for a couple of months! I am depending on the heart monitor functions to be working here.
So you are saying that you did not update the watch and activate the ECG before you left the US? If that is the case, you will not be able to update it while in Australia.
