Screen Settings to Fit at Top

I am having problems with a few apps. My screen doesn't fit at the top where the speaker comes down. It is being cut off. Is there a way to fix this?

Parts of my screen aren't working I don't think I phrased the topic well. My screen works fine when I'm not in an app. I can select the bottom icons (i.e. phone, safari, notes and music). But when I'm in any app, the bottom of the screen is unusable. I can't press anything to navigate and my spacebar/enter button doesn't work at all.

Let the app developer know about they problem. Apps should be designed to take note of the notch.
