Activation Lock

Bought ipad pro 9.7 in on ebay and it is activation locked. I cant get hold of the seller they have closed there account. I spent a good amount of money am I just screwed? Please help!

Only the person whose account the iPad is locked to can potentially help you, Apple won't remove activation lock from a second-hand device - if you can't contact the seller contact eBay or PayPal, or whatever payment method you used, and see if they will refund you.
