Can I uninstall Outlook from Office for Mac 2016 in MacBook Air?

The apps aren't connected to each other. Other than you maybe have a field in Word connected to an Excel spreadsheet, so when you modify the spreadsheet, it automatically updates the linked item in the Word document.


Otherwise, you can delete any individual apps as you please. If Word and Excel are all you want on the drive, you can remove the rest.


Regarding Outlook. Be aware you will not be able to access any items connected to Outlook after removing it. There is no easy way to get at your emails, contacts, or other data in Outlook's database. If none of that data is important, or you're certain you will never need to access it again, you can delete that, too. Go to this folder in your user account:


/Users/your-user-name/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office


In that folder, delete the subfolder, Outlook.


If you're not sure, simply leave it on the drive, or back up that subfolder in case you need to install Outlook again to get at any of the data stored there.
