I have an ipad air bought in 2013. I tried to do the latest software update and now it doesn't even open! After the apple logo it shows the itunes logo and the cable indicating that i need to connect the ipad with itunes. I do connect it but i don't even see the device on i tunes... I also tried hard reset but nothing... Does anyone have any idea what to do?

Alyssa thank you for responding so quickly. How do I restore it, since I can't see the device on iTunes nor I can't open it? Could you provide some steps?
The link I provided includes the steps to try to get iTunes to see your iPad.
