Text notifications
I’m receiving texts but I’m not being notified when I get one. Do not disturb is off and notifications are on. How do I fix this?

Hello,
The standard steps are as follows:
1) Check the mute button above the volume buttons. Do you see red? If so, move the slider.
2) Check the times in Do Not Disturb.
3) Go to Settings > Sound & Haptics. Change the "Text Tone" to a different sound. Does it make a sound?
Note: you can send text messages to yourself for testing purposes.
