How do I uninstall Office 365?

I have or had a Office 2011 installed on my MacBook Air. Recently after one of my kids was on my machine I now have an update installed with Office 365 that I have not activated since I don't need it. Now my office platform is not working as when I try to open any word, excel files, etc. it takes me to office 365 and asks for payment. Can someone tell me how to uninstall and get back to my old versions of office 2011?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.13

FWIW, if you select an Office file and press "commnd + I" or right/control click on one and choose "Get Info" you can change which version opens it from the "Open with:" menu then clicking the "Change All:" button.
