I I deleted a voicemail as I needed to keep it. Now I cannot find it anywhere?

VoiceMail is carrier specific service. The messages are stored at the Carrier's server end. Contact the Cellular Service provider and get to know the process of downloading from their server

Before that store all important voice mail on your iPhone before deleting them from the carriers' server
