Hi,
I would like to delete Bing from my mac book. My default browser is already set, but the pernicious Bing keeps interrupting and taking over the search engine job. There is not an option in preference-general to choose a search engine as far as I can see. I would sure appreciate help on this.

You have inadvertently added a Bing redirect— you have installed adware/malware. Try running this trusted utility https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/
