im not getting the full answer to can you pair a apple watch (series 3) with a phone? because what if you dont have a iphone you basically just wasted 400 bucks. Can someone please answer this question carefully?!?

I'm not sure what your question is. If you want to use series 3 you need an iPhone 6 or later with up to date iOS version. Does that answer your question?
