How to seperate from a shared Apple ID

How do I seperate 2 Iphones using same Apple ID. I am linked to my daughters and the amount of photos & videos I get on my phone is crazy. I can't delete them because then they are deleted from the cloud. I want to create 2 seperate accounts. ?

Two phones, One Apple Id and ways to share Trying to figure out the best practices for sharing things with two phones. For several years my wife and I just used the same apple id so all our purchases, contacts, and photos would sync. Sometimes IOS lets it play nice, other times not so much, depends on the update. We would see each other's phone calls, but that has gone away. Most recently with the purchase of some AirPods her phone kept taking over my audio. If I want to delete those from her phone it states it will delete it from all devices on the same cloud account. I think it's time to separate the two phones but what is the best way to still make sure all our photos, app store purchases and Apple One stay on the same account? Do we do two separate apple ids, but just one for the app store, then create a shared album? Will that shared be able to drop those photos into the mainstream or are they only kept on the second account?

If your daughter owns the iCloud account you're currently using, then do this on your phone, then set it up as a new device with your own iCloud account/Apple ID:

One of you needs to sign out of iCloud on the devices.
