How to separate contacts in family sharing

how do I keep

contact lists separate for each family member in family sharing? I’m setting up a child’s account and he needs his own contacts, not his parents contacts. Thanks.

If set up correctly Family Sharing does not share contacts. Each member has their own Apple ID.
