Bing redirect

all of a sudden today I noticed thru Google Chrome searches are being redirected to Bing. I've removed it from every way I can thru the settings but no matter what it keeps going back to bing so trying to read up online seems maybe I have a virus on macbook? this is an older macbook pro, 2012 and I know some computer stuff but i'm not a very technical person so how do I get rid of this? It's driving me nuts. Thanks!
