screenshot is not working in MacBook Pro macOS mojave

Hi Everyone,

I'm facing this issue from past 2-3 months and not finding any solution anywhere to fix.

My Mac is not taking screenshots anymore but I can still hear the capture sound.

Details:

shift+command+3

shift+command+4

shift+control+command+3

shift+control+command+4

all the above commands are copying the screenshot to clipboard. However, previously the first 2 commands were working fine as they suppose to; which is saving the screenshot in the folder by displaying it in right bottom at the screen.

Kindly, assist me with this issue as taking screenshots are crucial in my line of work. I don't want to use any 3rd party application for this.
