Contact Groups and Sending Email to Them

I've got a group in Contacts with 15 names in it. When I attempt to use Mail and address the email to that particular group, the names that are currently in the group do not populate the email. Rather, past names from an earlier group with the same name populate. Why does the computer not recognize the current names in the group and fill in those names when composing an email?

Thank you.
