Excell for Mac problem

I have Excell for Mac version 15.3.4 and Mac OS Mojave 10.14.3 When I launch Excel from the doc, the icon bounces for a few minutes, stops and five minutes later I get a message: " Excell saved changes to the file before the application quit unexpectedly. D

o you want to open the last saved version of the file?"

I have 2 options: cancel or open. If I click cancel, excel opens. If I click open, excel opens 20 or more files that I have to close one at a time. A long time ago, I just double clicked the icon in the doc, Excell opened quickly and I opened the file I wanted. How do I get back to this state?

If you used the link in the section for 15.34, it should have been still Office 2016.

You should just need to click the Activate button and log into your Microsoft account to activate it.

I had a problem where it asked for a 2019 license. I had to call the Microsoft support site and she walked me through deleting the old license file and entering the Office 2016 product code. So, if you get something looking for 2019 or 365 subscription, you may have to call them to re-enter your product key.
