MiniPlayer no longer allows adding songs to playlists after Tahoe update

Before updating to macOS 26 (Tahoe), I could easily add a song to any playlist directly from the MiniPlayer — it was quick and efficient.

Now, that option is gone:

I have to close the MiniPlayer, open the main player window, click the three-dot menu, and then choose Add to Playlist.

Even worse, this process now requires two clicks instead of one. It’s a small change, but it adds unnecessary friction to something that used to be smooth and intuitive.

I really hope Apple brings back the ability to add songs to playlists directly from the MiniPlayer.
