Universal Control breaks all the time

Hi,

I have an m2 and an m4 macbook pro notebooks and I use Universal control to use a single magic keyboard and trackpad to work on both.

The problem is that it stops to work all the time, sometimes even inbetween minutes.

It stops working on the "guest" mac but also in the "host" mouse pointer and keyboard stop working (both, BT and the ones from the macbook)

IS there anything I need to configure to make it more stable? connecting the macs via usb maybe? (tried without any config and nothing changed)
