Apple Compressor output is choppy with long 8K HEVC videos
Issue related to Apple compressor.
Issue: output is very choppy.
Machine: Mac mini M4 16GB RAM.
Note: I do not have Chrome installed on my machine.
Original file: .mp4 8k @50 frames. shot on DJI Osmo 360. HEVC 10 bit 420
Observation:
When I use FCP + Compressor to output 2-3 minute of output, the final output is Butterly smooth as we would expect for a 50 frame video. output: 8K @200mbit. @50frames. HEVC 10 bit 420
But when I do the whole project, which is roughly 48 mins long, the output is very struttery. jerks. same: 8K @200mbit. @50frames. This is the case whether I see it on YouTube on browser, on my meta quest3 or Quicktime on Mac. HEVC 10 bit 420. same issue when I get output in H264 at 200 Mbit.
example: see at 15:40, where that person runs towards his left to collect his lens.. this motion is choppy. the actual video and the shorter version of compressor output has smooth running...
I can share that particular clip which is 2.3gb in original somewhere if you want to see smoothness of the original clip ...but don't know where to share..
on YouTube, this is how original file uploaded with the same scene comes up.

and a small project with just 2 clips is shown here:
NOTE: watch these on your browser at 1080@50 . you will still not the difference.
My question in summary: why is the bigger project creating choppy output.
Note: Whilst editing, Memory usage on the activity monitor mostly stays in Green.
What is that I am doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
