Podcasts app: Delete 'Continue Playing' duplicating Queue

What’s the point of the “Continue Playing” list under “Queue” in the podcast app and how do I delete it?

I’ve looked through previous questions about this and none of the tips work. This CP list showed up after recent update. The list has every episode that is in my queue and only those episodes. I don’t want or need double lists. I just want the queue.
