Unable to add a song to an Apple Music Playlist from HomePod

I use my HomePods as a stereo pair connected as the output source for my Apple TV. When I play music in Apple Music on my Apple TV and try to add a song to a playlist via Siri on the HomePods, I get a response “Sorry, I wasn’t able to add the song to the playlist called…”

The playlist is in my Apple Music Playlist library. I can manually add the song using the Apple TV remote. Unable to tell Siri to do it via HomePod.

Edit: Found that if I change the name of the playlist from “John’s Christmas Music” to “My Christmas Music” I am then able to add the song to the Playlist via Siri on HomePods. Very bad UX in my opinion.
