Macbook Receiving Apple Cash Issue | No iPhone

I don't have an iPhone but have a Macbook with my iCloud email setup as able to receive texts.

I then got sent some Apple Cash over that text to my iCloud email, but it won't receive even after adding a Card in the Macbook Wallet section of System Settings.

Does Apple just not let (solely) Macbook users receive Apple Cash?

The message I get when clicking on it says this: "To view details for this transaction, open this message on your iPhone or Apple Watch."

Using other people’s devices is an indication of potential fraud and the issuing bank (Green Dot Bank), may choose to no longer do business with you. Apple Cash requires the security of an iPhone and a Mac just can’t provide that.

I suggest using another service such as Cash App, PayPal or Venmo. They offer competitive services and are more universal in being able to send an receive transfers cross platform and OS.
