Apple loops corrupted Garageband after update to iPad IOS 18.7.3

Hi

I recently updated to iPad IOS 18.7.3 and Garageband apple loops appear to be corrupted, only slight garbled sound is heard. this is the case for the loop browser and for loops imported into tracks.

I have not encountered this problem before.

I have so far tried the following:

Closed Garageband and reopened

Rebooted ipad

Reset Garageband (Not deleted and re downloaded)

Reset iPad(But not erased data/restored to factory settings)

any ideas?
